Oil Cleansing and the “Oil Myth”

Where do I start? I guess I’ll begin by asking what you wash your face with? Chances are, it’s something similar to what I used up until a few weeks ago: Clean and Clear’s cream cleanser. Most of the facial … Continue reading

Banana Peanut Butter Smoothie (or is it Ice Cream?)

The Simplest Peanut Butter

Green Morning Smoothie

This smoothie isn’t actually green in color, it just has a kick of spinach. I’ve always been interested in people putting spinach in their smoothies, so I decided to give it a try and add some to my morning smoothie.

1 banana
1 mango
1 cup of berries
1 cup of spinach
1 cup of water

I was pleasantly surprised! I was a little worried about trying it, but it turns out you can’t taste the spinach at all. You can play around with the amount of spinach you put in; I’ve found that no matter how much I put in I still can’t taste it. I’m really excited about this because it’s an absolutely effortless way to get a serving of vegetables!

Happy Smoothie-ing!

A Smooth Beginning

I am really terrible at eating fruits, they have never been a big part of my diet. So my first challenge was to eat more fruit every day. Smoothies are a great option for me.

Here is the first smoothie:

1 banana
1 mango
1 cup of berries
1 cup of water

I had this every morning and I loved it because it allowed me to get lots of fruit in one easy drink.
